AKC Obedience || Humble, TX

This was our first attempt at taking the horse trailer and camping in it.  Aside from some small glitches, everything worked perfectly.  Actually a bit too perfectly as we spent most of our time napping which made for some sloppy handling!

• Trip was entered in conformation, but due to obedience conflicts he didn't get to show.
• Cole showed both days in Beginner Novice obedience and was great!  On Saturday he did well but NQed on the stay because I had to walk near the judge and he assumed he was to free stack over with us like in conformation.  As soon as he got up he was like wait no... oops.  Sunday he Qed with a 194 and 3rd place.
• Georgie was entered in her Novice obedience debut.  Saturday was picture perfect until two Rho Ridges got into a fight in the ring behind ours during the group stays.  She held her stay for their first fight, but when the dog relunged at the other, Georgie politely stood up and walked to the nearest human (the judge in this case) and sat calmly.  So yeah, NQ.  On Sunday I was prepared for her to be worried or something but nope!  Geo was raring to go and did a complete finish around me on every stop, then blasted her recall at warp speed... half a second before I asked.  At least she NQed with style and with lots of happy! 
• We picked up a long awaited stranger on Friday that made the trip all weekend with us.  My new German Shepherd, Eos.  She was a rock star learning about the kennel and expen as well as the whole traveling thing.  Excited about her!
