I built a new stacking box this weekend and naturally I had to play with it. Luckily I have 3 puppies that were willing (and not so willing) volunteers to play show dog!
Scone - Available to a companion/performance home. This is a really sweet puppy that loves to be around the people. She's helped my grill steaks, clean the house, and play with my son. We have been working on agility fundamentals and various other puppy training things. I would consider a home that would show her or let me show her in regular or altered conformation when she was older as well.
Mr Bagelman - Available to a companion/show home. Bagel is available to a companion home, a companion home that would let me show him, or a show home. He is a very nice puppy that is a super nice mover no matter what he's doing. This is a snuggly puppy and very playful.
Shelby - Available to a show/performance home. This is a 0-60mph kind of puppy. She is so sweet, so smart, but needs a job. My preference would be on a serious/experienced performance home that also happens to show in conformation or would let me do it for them. Her drives are very nice for toys, food, and praise and she is pleasant in the house. Additionally she is very confident and takes everything in stride. Let me know if you're looking for your next rock star!
Congratulations on Envy (FDCH-G Cirrus Double Dare Me 2B Nauti JS-O, GS-E, RS-O, CGC ) and Deb for finishing their FDCh-Gold (Flyball Dog Championship - Gold Level)! You guys are so awesome and as always, I appreciate your efforts!
This past weekend we hit a semi-local UKC show in the hopes of finishing Georgie's championship. Cole was supposed to come along to show with Pierce in his first ever time in the Junior's ring but alas, after I got Cole all primped and pretty for the show, I let him jump off the grooming table and he tweaked something. Boo. I NEVER let my guys hop off the table for this reason so grr on me. Striker came along for the ride because I wanted to show more than one dog. I'm crazy like that.
Georgie got WB, BOW for 35 more points and a competition win to finish her Ch. She only needed 15 points and no competition to finish so this was a nice surprise. She showed well and we got to work on some obedience things in the ring.
Sutton helped Pierce in Juniors for the first show and then Striker was the man in the second show. Both dogs did well for my kiddo!
Striker was the only Border Collie entered so obviously went BOB but then he won Group 1 over about 7 other breeds and got a competition win and a bunch of points. He showed ok in the Best In Show ring but there was a lovely Doberman and German Shorthaired Pointed that were showing their hearts out and got BIS and RBIS.
Since Georgie was finished, we let Pierce show Striker in Show 2 and then headed home!
Just me, Beth, the person in charge of the Cirrus Crew! Reporting LIVE (or semi so!) on our happenings about the place and at shows.
